Here is my experience of 1 week continuous fighting.

Motherboard ASUS "P7P55D-E LX"

with Core i3 530 and ATI HD4670 graphics (+ memory Kingston 2 Gb 1333).

Istallation method - "iATKOS S3 version 2" DVD.

1. reset BIOS to defaults, then turn SATA to AHCI

2. boot on "iATKOS S3 version 2" DVD with option "busratio=22"

3. format HDD to MBR MacOS Journaled.

4. install MacOS from "iATKOS S3 version 2" DVD with default options (default bootloader Asere BLN ..).

5. After installation.

On another computer, that can read and edit MacOS HDD (Mac or PC with "MacDrive" installed).

Delete installed "mach_kernel" from installation HDD.

Copy the kernel "mach_qoopz" from "iATKOS S3 version 2" DVD to your installation HDD.

I guess, this is the kernel "qoopz 10.2.0".

Rename "mach_qoopz" to "mach_kernel".

6. Boot on HDD with safe mode option "busratio=22 -x -v".

7. Add to "Extra\com.apple.boot.plist" Kernel Flag "busratio=22".

8. Update to 10.6.4 with combo update downloaded before.

9. boot to updated MacOS 10.6.4. As I could see, there was no driver properly installed for my ATI HD4670.

So, I've used this method to get it working Sapphire ATI HD4650 1GB DDR2 and Snow Leopard 10.6.4

10. Install other drivers you like. Don't know if it is possible to install USB 3.0 + SATA 6Gb/s drivers,

but MacOS recognizes all SATA controllers.

Thanks to "iATKOS" !

UPDATE: After the 10.6.6 update installed, my clock was running faster.

The MBst version 3.3 was used http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/03/mul...-33-update.html. Bootloader Chameleon 2.0 RC5 r748 by Kabyl with experimental ATI GraphicsEnabler support was installed and everything is working well.

UPDATE: Bought "WD My Book Essential 1132" with USB 3.0 interface. Solution - patched LaCie drivers from here http://www.applelife...3-msi-p55-gd85/ See attachment to this post.

UPDATE: succesfull update to 10.6.8

UPDATE: succesfull Lion 10.7.3 install.

iAtkos L2 (update 10.7.2 to 10.7.3 via "software update") and MBst for Lion (patches Voodoo, USB3, realtek, jmicron, sata3) were used.

1920x1080 resolution for Ati card - without any patches.

I just bought this exact motherboard from newegg and plan to build a mac pro hackintosh with it. I also bought a Core i5 750 and an ASUS GeForce 9500GT graphics card.

Is there a specific reason you used iATKOS instead of ##### and ##### (with a retail version of SL)?

I've done the Dell Mini 9 & 10v thing with Netbook Installer and a MSI Wind desktop with Chameleon, so I know what I'm doing, but this is the first non Atom based system I've attempted...

Any suggestions?

I had tried a lot of installers, but "iATKOS S3 version 2" is the only one that I was able to install succesfully.

Maybe because of correct kernel that is included in the "iATKOS S3 version 2".

i dont have anyother drive or computer to edit to kernel

hello!

Your CPU has bus ratio 23

look http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=46473

May be booting with "busratio=23 -v -x" will help.

And also try different kernels.
