My card is an intel GMA950, ID 27a2 .....I'm using the snow leopard by Hazard, vanilla kernel. The sound is working and the mouse (without the trackpad) ... The sound is working and the mouse (without the trackpad) ... Hi , i have Satellite A100-036 its pretty the same . And i got my GMA950 27a2 working 100% percent , how i did it ? Firstly here is my GMA950 info http://img179.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20100408at632.png/ 1. Installed Snow Leopard Retail ( using external monitor to boot , without it i get grey screen ) 2. Instaled iHack ( it came with EFI empire boot cd - the newest one ) : Inside my extra/extensions/ i have these kext : http://img13.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20100408at605.png/ 3. Then with kextHelper ( http://cheetha.net/ ) i installed only Natit.kext ( keep original GMA950 kexts dont touch them ) 4. Then i restarted my Laptop to sure if everything works fine without panics. 5. Shutdowned my Toshiba A100-036 and unplug external monitor . Then i started my machine and screen works perfectly ! There i will post all my kext i have used : Kexts.zip http://www.mediafire.com/?gmn5odzjkkq or http://rapidshare.com/files/373477103/Kexts.zip Some info about kexts i have uploaded : Natit.kext - to make GMA950 27a2 work without external monitor with full capability. VoodooBattery.kext - to make toshiba's battery work. VoodooPowerAcpi.kext - for battery too. VoodooPowerMini.kext - defenetly same as VoodooPowerAcpi ( i installed them both ) VoodooHDA-0.2.56.pkg - It's for sound. Thats all i did to make my Video card work , hope you will have same result as me . And if it work for u post this guide couse i cant do it . I would like to share with you my issue as I didn't find anyone talking about it anywhere ... I have installed snow leo on my NC6400 with iHazard. Even in the final version which now include driver for the GMA950, driver are not working. I guess they still not work for those who have a GMA950 0x27a2. So I have some drivers for GMA950 working as I can have the 1280*800 reso which is good. But my problem is that it gives me trouble with WORD and other office stuff but mainly with word. I tried with OFFICE 2004, 2008 and even 2011 beta 2. The issue is that WORD is managing the cursor pointer and it has problem to change it so the cursor freeze, or double itself regarding where the mouse is on : - on a graphic : no problem - on cells : no pb - but on text : bingo. So it is hard to select text or to click in the text ... A trick is to right click to have a popup then move the mouse which in that case move ok with the popup opened and then click where you wanted in the text. I tried the different version of office without the GMA950 installed so with the basic 1024.768 reso and word has no problem to manage the ursor pointer. So really it comes with the GMA950 driver. Anyone has working with GMA950 (0x27a2) + Word 2008 (don't like the 2004) + Snow leo 10.6.2 or 10.6.3 ? If yes, any chance to share the drivers ... ? Graphics is working well with original kexts (IntelGMA... and AplleIntelIntegratedFrameBuffer) at the cost of doing some DSDT eding explained here. And Word 2008 has no problem with original kexts (for sankara09). Desktops do not use AIIFB to my knowledge so it may solve issues with Word 2008. I m using versison 1.4.20 of AIIFB (too log to repeat -)) in order to get mirroring wich is crucial for my work ! I wonder wether the Natit kext you're using is able to correctly achive mirroring. Thanks. hey Edgaras...i tried following ur steps! but its still not working for me ...does it need to be the RETAIL disk?? or any distro will work fine? since am using 10.6.2 Hazard's distro...please! any information on getting my GMA950 27A2 working fully?? i really need it thanx in advance!
