AppleHDA for Conexant CX20561 working headphone, working headphone mic recognized but not fully working . Options

hello . this is a working applehda.kext plus applehdaenabler.kext for Conexant CX20561 Vendor ID 0x14f15051 subsystem ID 0x103c30cd.

thanks to member name padovka. although i'm not sure if he's the one who patched it.


what works:

internal speakers and headphone and the jack for external speakers are working.


what doesn't work for me.

Mic internal and external are recognized as "Line Out" for me.

but when i record my voice i hear beep noise only.

mute doesn't work for me.

How to install:

before installation go to System/Library/Extentions and remove AppleAzilaAudio.kext and remove alcinjectore
if you have it.

Use kexthelper7 to install both kexts to gather.

reboot and go to ur preference and than audio and than from output select internalspeaker. you'll have sound. than try ur headphones. it should work.

Extra Informations.

I check inside applehda.kext/Content/Plugins/Applehdacontroller.kext and i found that under Pinconfig the numbers are a little bit different than my pinconfig.

here is how u can get ur pinconfig numbers/verbs.

so when i put my pinconfig inside applehdacontroller.kext and installed applehda.kext again. i got different informations inside prefrence audio menu. this time instead of external mic and internal mic i had Line Out for both of them. but this time i have signal in both Line outs and the top Line Out shows that it's for internal mic and the bottom one shows that it's for external mic, yet still when i record sound i hear beep noise only. so that has to do with the info.plist inside applehdea.kext. where there are numbers which must be plugged into signal processing inside layout.

but the internal speaker was ok and the headphone works. as i mentioned mute doesn't work.


So i invite whoever is interested to find out how we are going to find the right information for signal processing to make mic work.

I think this applehda will work for others who have conexant hd or even intel high defenition sound card. all you need is to follow up and read about it to get this done. here is a good link from sticky by Madtuxx.
