Jazz_aaf
After many trials I have managed to get OS X installed on my Toshiba Satellite A305-S6916 using Ideneb 1.4 (10.5.6). My systems specifications: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6400 4GB SDRAM 320GB HDD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 W/ 512 MB Main OS: Windows 7 RC ----------- When installing Ideneb 1.4 customize the installation to choose only the main files ( no patches ). After installation, the following did not work: (what to use to get it working) - Sound (used ALC268FIX.zip). Works. - High Speed USB 2.0 (used PCGenUSBEHCI.kext). Works - Wireless Adapter - Intel Wifi Link 1500 Not working. Replaced by External Adapter (NetGear WG111v3) which is working perfectly using RealTek's RTL8187B driver. - Display - working but limited to one resolution with no EQ support. - Internal Cam - Works fine. ------------- Note: Graphics Adapter does not work if you install Ideneb 1.5 or later. So you better stick to the 1.4 version only. I hope this will be of any help to those who have similar machines. ikeleary
Hi, I am thinking about doing this to my A305 also. Is there any directions on how to update Sound that you used, ALC268FIX.zip Also, how did you install PCGenUSBEHCI.kext and where did you find the download for it? Google? - Wireless Adapter - Were you able to ever get the internal to work? Please PM me...
