deejayts
Hello everyone. My pc configuration is the following one: MB MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum CPU Amd Athlon64 3200+ Venice RAM 2GB GC GeForce 6800 Ultra 256MB 2xSATA Maxtor HDs (250 and 120 GB) My first HD (250 GB) has 2 primary partitions, one with Windows XP, the other with MacOsX 10.5.1 Kalyway. The installation process went fine and the Darwin boot loader was installed. However when the boot process starts the hard drives are turned off at a certain point and everything hangs, so I have to reboot with the reset button. Is anybody able to help me please? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99600-kalyway-1051-boot-failure/ Share on other sites
jadphoto14
I think I might have this problem too. Everything is really slow. Any help? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99600-kalyway-1051-boot-failure/#findComment-711415 Share on other sites
deejayts
mmm... I used a clean old (ancient ) Parallel Ata Hard Disk to install MacOsX 10.5.2... the installation was ok and the boot was ok... everything works out of the box... but my question remains... is SATA working or not with my system? I would surely prefer to use a faster hard drive...
