Problems with Nvidia driver, I think.

Ok, so let me just get this out of the way. This is my first time ever using OSX in any fashion ( PC or Mac ), so if this is an obvious question, just quietly point me in the right direction and I'll go away, for now at least.

 

I got my network card working and just now got my video card working ( 8600M GT ), but now whenever I try to move a window around, they lag like no tomorrow, except Adium . I tried searching for solutions through the forum but "laggy windows" or "nvidia lag" wasn't turning up much for me. I am assuming it has something to do with the Nvidia driver because before with whatever driver was being used, I didn't have said lag. And its just the windows that lag (and scrolling ); the actual system runs just fine.

 

Oh, and I used the Nvidia Installer by Punk92 and I'm on a Dell Inspiron 1520 and used the ToH 10.5.2 install DVD, if that helps any.
