xthejuicex
Hello. I just installed OSx86 10.4.4. To start the OS i have the dvd in and start it that way(only way it starts). After it loads stuff it shows a movie. after this movie is done playing, the cursor shows up for a second and then gives some error(i think) when trying to start and just plays the movie over again. Any help for this woul be greatly appreciated. Also i am running a socket 754 3000+ on a MSI mobo with 1 gig of ram. flits
i have the same problem. installation went fine but now when i actually want to start osx86, it's just looping the "welcome" movie. between each loop the screen goes black for about half a second, but no errors are displayed on screen. any solutions would be appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9881-constant-looping/#findComment-67157 Share on other sites
pulpe
It is a setup assistant SSE3 compatibility problem. You need to install the AMD SSE3 patch in single user mode (-s) before using the OS.
