Ktulu
I successfully installed MacOS X 10.4.3 8F1111 on a PC and all seem to work fine, except that data DVDs other than video DVDs do not mount. No icon appears on the desktop and there is no mount point created in "/Volumes" (checked with bash.) Also, the keyboard mapping is weird. It's Azerty as expected but some keys/characters do not match. What could be the problem ? TIA. Config is: - ASUS P5LD2-VM (i945G chipset) MB - Celeron D 326 CPU (SSE3, NX etc.) - 512 MB DDR2 - 80 GB SATA Maxtor HD - Lame LG DVD drive - Wireless Logitech keyboard & mouse Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9875-system-runs-fine-but-dvds-do-not-mount/ Share on other sites

Ktulu
Nope, no error messages. That's weird because video DVDs automount; the DVD player is automatically launched and plays the DVDs fine. What is this DVD patch about ? Thanx.
