Hi all,

I know this isn't the first time this has happened to anyone I know its happened to loadsof people but I've tried everything I it still get b0 error everytime I boot into Leopard from my hardrive. I've tried FDisk but it doesn't work. I've tried booting from the dvd but I get 'System config file" /com.apple.boot.plist" not found'. I successfully installed iATKOS v1.0i but it just won't boot up after I restart. Please can anyone help me??? I've spent nearly a week now trying to get this working. I have had to reinstall windows 3 times and have lost all my files because windows wouldn't boot when I tried to do a dual boot with partitioning my Hardrive. I bought another hardrive to install OS X Leopard on so it wouldn't f**k up my windows OS.

have just tried installing with just iATKOS main system and everything in efi and now I get a blinking cursor instead of the b0 error. I have tried both GUID and MBR partitions and none work. If I try to boot from the dvd it just restarts my pc. any ideas?????

Cheers

This has only hapened to me running kalyway on a costro 200.

The way to overcome is, is to ensure your first boot device is the cd drive and hard disk second.

And make sure the install disc is still in the drive.

Don't press any keys and it should boot.

If it doesn't I guess, you need to wait for someone elses help, as that is the only way it worked for me.

thanks for your help. I've managed to do it anyway. I press -s when I boot the dvd, mark the partition as active using fdisk and it worked. But I have to type cpus=1 everytime for it to boot correctly otherwise it just restarts my computer

You can just add that to the com.apple.boot.plist to save typing whenever you start. Have a look around, there should be a guide.
