aamir Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 Hi I installed Tiger 10.4.10 on my PC : CPU 1.7 celeron MPGA478 3 GB RAM DDR400 Geforcefx 5700LE (Natit 2) MAXTOR IDE IN normal mode everything was ok, but after openning some program a performance go to low (Drag and Drop, minimize &.......) what is the problem>? Reveeen Posted April 8, 2008 Share Posted April 8, 2008 I am not quite sure what you are asking? If you are asking if the 1.7 socket 478 Celeron is a "slug", it is. (if you care to step back in time, May 15th 2002, when released these Willamette based Celerons were slower than the higher end P3's) My first attempt at this was on a full blown P4 @1.8 and it was a "slug" too.
