Silicon Valley
I HAVE A NICE 3.2 HT FUJITSU LAPTOP (DESKTOP REPLACEMENT). IT HAS SSE2, SSE3, AND PAE I'VE SEEN OTHERS HAVE INSTALLED IT ON THEIR LIFEBOOKS, BUT SINCE I CAN'T "SEE ROOT DEVICE" AND I'VE READ THE FACTOIDS ABOUT (EITHER CD ROM OR HARD DRIVE CHANNEL) I HAVE A QUESTION. IF I USE AN EXTERNAL USB CDROM TO INSTALL OSX86 WILL THAT WORK? I'M OPEN TO ANY WAY THAT WORKS TO GET IT ON THE SYSTEM. I WANT TO RUN MULTI-BOOT (CHAIN0 MOD) AND NEED SOME HELP FROM THOSE WHO ARE MOST EXPERIENCED THAN ME. (NOTICE THE HUMBLENESS) .. THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU GUYS CAN GIVE. _-=RP=-_
If you have a SATA disk try to disable AHCI in the BIOS. My OSx86 doesn't start if I don't disable this in the BIOS. BTW, got a Fujitsu S7020 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9691-just-when-i-thought-i-was-good-to-go/#findComment-60904 Share on other sites
