mattems Posted April 1, 2008 Share Posted April 1, 2008 Hey all, i have hackintosh 10.5.2 running. I have a focusrite saffire and am getting no sound output. starobrno1 Posted April 1, 2008 Share Posted April 1, 2008 Have you set your gear up for the right soundcard in Aplications/utilities/audio midi setup. You also have to set Logic up for it in Logic Pro/Preferences/Audio/Devices/Core Audio. Check Enabled and you should se you soundcard in the Device field. I have the Saffire Pro 10 i/o works really good but it takes a Pci to Fw card with Texas Instruments chipset if you don´t have FW on your mobo. I don´t know but maby you´d need a Pci FW card anyway if your onboard FW is based on the wrong chipset but I don´t know for sure so you´ve better check.
