Zer04evr
First off gotta say I am a normally anti mac person, but i stumbled upon the leopard x86 hacks and got real damn curious as to how nicely it ran so i went and downloaded the Kalyway version of 10.5.1 Leopard but unfortunately haven't been able to run it. for some odd reason when i run in the -v (verbose mode?) i get it hung on the Still Searching for root line and it keeps saying that on and on and on. If i just let it boot I am greeted with the apple logo and then an evil little square with a 0 pops up just above the logo and it just sits there please would someone tell me what a I doing wrong? oh, before I'm asked, here are the specs Processor Name Intel Pentium 4 630 Codename Prescott Specification Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz Package Socket 775 LGA (platform ID = 4h) Core Speed 2997.2 MHz (15.0 x 199.8 MHz) Rated Bus speed 799.2 MHz Stock frequency 3000 MHz Instructions sets MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, EM64T RAM 6Gb (2x2Gb 2x1Gb Both dual channel) Mainboard DG965WH (0x1CE - 0x579528) Video Card Radeon X1950 CrossFire Edition Hard Drives 4 250 Gb S-ATA Hdds (one of which is going to house the mac osx) All hdds are formated to ntfs partitioning I hope this all helps if anyone knows why id love some help *Edit* The HDD type btw is Western Digital WDC WD2500KS-00MJB0 for all 4 of the drives *Edit* Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/96454-need-some-help/ Share on other sites
