goexplodex4 Posted February 21, 2006 Share Posted February 21, 2006 Hey guys Im a newb at this, been looking into it for a week or so. You guys do a great job. I had Mandrake Linux as well as XP installed on my system wih LILO as my boot loader. I formated a partition on the same drive as XP for use with OSX. It installed after using disk utilities that came with the install, and to my happy face did not corrupt my windows information. So after it installed, as any Linux people know, LILO has no idea its there. The problem is ive never configured it for OSX and i dunno what to do to make LILO see it. If anyone out there knows how to configure the /etc/lilo.conf file or any way to do this lemme know. Im very excited to get this to work. Never had 3 completely different OSs before. Penium 4HT 3.0EGhz 1GB DC DDR Windows is on an IDE drive, Mac is on that same drive (diff part yeah i know, but with a bootloader i was thinkin) Linux is on a separate IDE drive there is also a SATA drive in there too I know there are better ways i can set up the OSs but, until i back up everything and do a clean wip again, i just wanted to get all 3 to boot, but first i gotta get LILO to see OSX Never thought I'd say that. :pirate2: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9579-lilo-and-osxhelp/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
