mr_six
Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask, but I have a 120gb hard drive in my laptop, it's an HP and when I got it, there were two partitions, one was around 7 or 8gb and it was a backup partition that hp creates for backup. Well I'm installing leopard, and disk utility only finds a 111gb partition, i can't get the other space back. It doesn't find it in windows anymore either. It just seems to have dissapeared, how can I get it back? oh, and formatting the drive doesn't work, it just recognizes it as a 111gb drive, no empty space to format. help is appreciated. Use Ultimate Boot CD to format the partition FAT32, and set it Active. This will let Disk Utility see it. Set your Win partition active if you need Windows to boot.
