jcg42
I've seen a couple of different patched kernels floating around like the "10.5.2 kernel vanilla and patched" and the two netkas kernels. My CPU doesn't support SpeedStep so I don't need to worry about that. Right now I'm using the 9.1.0 sleep kernel included with Kalyway 10.5.1 release plus the Kalyway ComboUpdate which doesn't have the 9.2 kernel, but I think it would be better to update for compatibility with future updates and to stop that annoyingly long boot time I got after upgrading to 10.5.2. I was wondering what was the latest and greatest patched kernel available? Here are links to my specs in case it helps: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...3644&dlc=en http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...3644&dlc=en Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/95539-which-92-kernel-should-i-get/ Share on other sites
Beerkex'd
If you're on Kalyway, update the kernel with the Kalyway 10.5.2 kernel package. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/95539-which-92-kernel-should-i-get/#findComment-681440 Share on other sites
