DrDrumm
It seems that I can't install Leopard 10.5.2. 10.5.1 installs but it's not very stable and after a few minutes after logging in I get a kernel Panic. (Installed 10.5.1 AMD DVD) Tried EVERY 10.5.2 install disc in existence and everyone of them panics right at the start of the install disc boot process. Used the AMD 10.5.2 update, but it didn't help. + don't seem to be able to get QE/CI - weirdly. As of now, running 10.4.10 tubgirl amd with perfect native install - everything works off the bat. What am I doing wrong ? I need help from the Gurus... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/95476-need-help/ Share on other sites

Coadey
This sounds like a hardware/kext conflict. Use the Console utility to look for problems leading up to the panic, see if Safe Boot helps, unplug unncessary hardware and disable BIOS features such as lan/sound/ahci to narrow it down.
