Problems Booting Leopard and XP using 2 drives

I've searched far and wide and haven't found anything helpful yet.

 

Leopard installs just fine. Booting is the problem.

 

I've used the Chain0 method, the Acronis Boot Selector, EasyBCD/Vista's bootloader, and I get the same result every time.

 

_<---- this thing blinks at me, refusing to do anything else.

 

I've got an MSI P6N Nforce 650 SLI

Q6700

4GB RAM

2 PNY GeForce 7900 GS in SLI configuration

 

Anyone got any ideas? Need more info?

 

As a note it will not install unless I use the -v -f cpus=1 paramaters that I read elsewhere on the board.
