Gato_shin
Will my laptop work with Leo? If will, which version shall I select? As shown in my signiture, my laptop is : LapT: Acer Aspiron 5022WLMi || CPU: AMD Turion64 ML-40 @ 2.2G Hz || Chip: ATI RS480+SB400 (x200)RAM: 2x1024MB || HD: PATA 160G @ 5400RPMx2(5K160+5400.3) || DVD: Panasonic UJ-845S(replaced by second HDD and modified as external) Video: ATI Rad X600M 64MB PCI-E || OS: 10.4.8 jas ppf1 || Lan: Realtek 8169 Gigabit || Wlan: Broadcom 4318 Video card work properly @ 1280x800 60Hz GE/CI supported (VGA-out not working) || AC 97 audio card output fine but no input Seeking Driver for CSR BlueTooth Module VID 0A12&PID 0001 Drived but can't work, too. Give up because the soft switch problem. Seeking Driver for Texas Instruments PCIxx21/x515 Cardbus Controller Seems like solved, but can't read CF cards Sound Blaster Live! External 24-bit(5.1, SBO490) only have 2 channel output but the MIC IN works fine Try finding solution for X600M VGA-out AND Waiting for the hero to enable the soft switch of acer Still hesitating, because it is working in a quite good situation (only a little hot) and most of my hardware is working fluently (the only problem is my external monitor). If the upgrade may cause the lost of functions (such as QE/CI for graphic card), maybe I prefer to just stay with Tiger. (Actually, I wonder if I can still use the driver for X600M in Tiger with Leo? seems those drivers has already stopped releasing new versions) Actually havn't paid any attention to hackintosh because it just works, till I tried to install Office 2008 which requires 10.4.9 or higher. And one more question: is there anything like speedstep working for Turion64 now? Had heard something about that but not much. Gato_shin
Nobody have any idea about that? Alright, alright, just give the Zaphy version a try and come back if any problem occurs. Should go to the bay directly while my recent questions almost never get any answer.
