Tammm
Hi All, Quick question. Followed a few guides on here to get 10.5.2 installed thru GUID with PCI_EFI 8, and a dual booting environment. I have Vista 32-bit on another partition on the same drive. Vista and OSX both boot fine from EFI boot menu, although my main question is this: is it possible to boot this same windows partition from within a virtualized environment like parallels or vmware? I have tried with both, but came up with a b0 error. Had a quick search in this forum for the answers, although couldn't find any. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers! I had this error and the way to fix it is to boot of the VIsta DVD go to recover mode and then command prompt type in bootrec.exe /fixmbr and then /fixboot and it works. Although i don't know if it changes the boot block to run it natively from the darwin menu upon computer boot up Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/94374-virtualised-environment-for-windows-partition/#findComment-733943 Share on other sites
