psantorini Posted March 17, 2008 Share Posted March 17, 2008 My problem is this: I install OS X as normal with JaS 10.4.8, and then after I reboot I can't get past the Apple screen saying "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button for several seconds or press the Restart button." I had Mac installed before on one of my HD's. I had Office and a bunch of other programs installed, but a 10.4.10 update rendered it unbootable. I tried reinstalling OS X multiple times, all successfully, but after the initial reboot I couldn't get past the aformentioned screen. Any suggestions? For the record I have an AMD Sempron 1.8 ghz with NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE graphics.
