First off, I have not installed Leoard; I haven't even reached the GUI. So I have a Kalyway for intel sse2 and sse3 DVD, and Iatkos DVD. With the Kalyway disc, I could not get past darwin, to the splash screen with the apple logo and the loading thing. However, with the Iatkos DVD, I can get to that screen, but no further. When it came to the screen where you hit F8 for boot options, I put in different flags. With the verbose flag, it stops loading. The last line says: "BSD root: disk1s3, major 14, minor 4" If you need anymore I'll start from further up the screen I've done my research, and I just cannot seem to find what my problem it. Elkay Posted March 5, 2008 Share Posted March 5, 2008 try adding the boot option cpus=1. You probably have the same problem with it freezing there that many of us do, and so far nobody that's had it freeze on that line has been able to come up with a workaround short of running 1 core.
