Fantasmeo
Hi everybody, I've installed mac os x (kalyway leopard 1.5) on my notebook (Acer travelmate 5720g), but when i reboot my pc (after mac installation) the boot don't give me errors and it starts leopard correctly, but after i see the apple with under the "loading circle", i can see only small black rectangles with a gray background... I thinks it depends because of my videocard: Ati Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT Have I to load video drivers from kexts files during the leopard installations? If yes, How? And where can I find the drivers? Thank you very much in advance. I'm waiting for an answer... wahwahman89
Try to hit F8 before it boots up and type in -v -x followed by the return key. It will boot up, but only with elementary drivers. Then you can search for a fix and sort any problems out that you have. I'm positive that there are drivers for the 2400 XT out there. Search around the forum and download them. Then install them in -v -x mode. When you reboot you should have good display. Good luck.
