I just got a iSight Web Cam and using a Adaptec Firewire PCMCIA card attempted to install the Cam, but when I connect it, nothing happens-nto even the little green light, lite's up....

So I do a About this MAC check and check the firewire and it appears to be located by the laptop, I even connect an external DVD Burner which is firewire and was able to copy a DVD using the PCMCIA card....

So I look at the card which has three Firewire ports, but also what appears to be a voltage input socket, but the card never came with a voltage adapter, I go the the adaptec website , Link: http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/product/p...e+1394+Adaptors , but no mention of a voltage adapter for the PCMCIA card, the card doesn't even specify the voltage input ??

If anyone knows the proper voltage adapter for this PCMCIA can you advise me, so I can see if the iSight Web Cam finally works.....

I got the iSight to work, after looking around I found the disc that came with the firewire PCMCIA card, it appears I need a Power Supply with 12v DC and 1.5Amps Output, I was able to locate a power supply with 12v DC at 500MA and after connecting the power supply the iSight works perfectly.....
