R. Bear Helms Posted February 17, 2006 Share Posted February 17, 2006 dd definitely isn't an instant in-and-out process - on certain systems it does take HOURS, especially with humongous images. And 12581793 records qualifies as humongous. Whatever install guide you've followed, your "dd" step is complete. Continue with whatever else they say to do after that.
