hacked_a_tosh
hey, i use apple systems since 8 month and i would never want to miss it anymore. So i decided to build a lowcost hackintosh-system. But im very new in this area, so i need some help. Im looking for components around 300€ (i think that must be 450$ or something like that). I would prefer „out-of –the-box-working“, ive used linux for years and i dont want to have such an amount of stress again. you can also suggest a premade or BTO-system i hope my english istn as bad tongue.gif Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90508-lowcost-hackintosh-system/ Share on other sites
Lozzo
300 Euros translates to 227 GBP. So, using one of my favourite UK suppliers..... Intel E2160 CPU £43.65 Asrock 1333-D667 £29.83 2Gb DDR2/667 (2x1Gb) £23.48 160Gb Maxtor SATA £30.30 256Mb ASUS 7300GT £34.06 LiteOn SATA CD-DVD/RW £16.44 £177.76 The only problem you might have is the ALC888 audio with that Asrock board, currently output only. Add case to suit (around £25 max for something cheapy) and you still have 40 Euros left to buy me beer.
