wont boot into OS X

Ive got a strange error booting into darwin useing the windows boot loader, Ive OS X86 right, it boots in VMware, I was even able to boot into it once by useing the -v command, when i boot all I see is the dancing \ for a second then it goes back to the bootloader. if I press F8 really fast I can see the boot options (WINXP and MAC OSX86)

just got this in VMware

This is almost the same situation for me. The dancing / wont go away on my comp.

I'm venturing a guess that you either cannot allocate enough RAM to the virtual machine (mine works at the max of 788mb), or you have some hardware that is making a driver "eat itself for lunch" as they used to say in my gaming job.

 

Also, if you installed native, VMware almost never works. If you begin the install under VMware, then you can boot native and VM... go figure.
