Hello people!

I post because i'm not able to install leopard/tiger because the installers doesn't detect my HD.

My notebook is an acer aspire 5520-5670, my specs are in my signature. But...

today i've been so close to boot from my HD(well i think that so close :D)

I've installed the uphuck v1.4a DVD for AMD using VMware. So, when the installation finished,

i started the virtual machine and i installed the newest AppleNForceATA.kext by medevil with my HD id inside. Also i installed the NForce5.pkg that is on the osx86 wiki. So, when all the process finished, i turn off the virtual machine, i activated the tiger partition from diskpart utility of windows vista, and reboot the notebook.

So, the first try it give me a com.apple.boot.plist not found, then i restart the notebook again but i enter to the boot of my notebook. I wait 10 seconds and then i try to boot again the tiger, but with the -f -v flags.

This time, it worked, for a while :(

My 2 processors were detected and i saw all the kexts loading in the screen, it was good because i think that tiger will boot. Buuuuuuut

then this screen appear :(

I dont know what happened :S

Im thinking make all the whole process again, but without install the NForce5.pkg

What do you think?

Can somebody help me? Plx ;)

I am so close to get tiger booting, then i think i will be able to install leopard :)

Also, there are some users with notebooks like mine, so if i can make it works, they also will be able.

Well, by now thats all guys

Waiting for your help :D

Cya!

Yeah I would love to get OS X on my acer aspire 5520. I can get a few of the newest 10.5.5 discs to boot up, and a few even recognize my hard drive, but when I go to erase a partition, the screen turns white and the computer hangs; after a forced hard-shutdown/reboot, no changes have been made to the disk. I would erase the partition with another boot disc, but I'm afraid after I get it erased that OS X will not be able to install to that hard drive either, and the erase will have been for nothing.
