inedible
I'm not sure what's causing your problem, but you may want to try booting with the option "Graphics Mode"="640x480x32" and/or the -x option. BlackedOutLeopard
I opened the com.apple.boot.plist and changed it to 600x480x32 and i get a lot of lines with different colors. Along with 800 x 600. How do i boot into the graphic mode or is it editting like i did. inedible
Oh, okay.. I meant using it as a one-time option on boot, not a permanent setting in boot.plist... I suppose you could do it that way, but I just meant entering that at the darwin bootloader... as in, press F8 when you first boot up, and type -x "Graphics Mode"="640x480x32" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90183-half-of-the-welcome-screen-is-off-the-screen-iatkos-v10ir2/#findComment-643454 Share on other sites
BlackedOutLeopard
But i see those lines on such a low res. Is there anyway i can click the next button on the welcome window when you first boot up Mac. Im stuck on it and if i can get to the desktop i can change the res there. Is there anyway i can get onto the operating system because im stuck on this welcome screen. inedible
You know, I don't think there is a keyboard shortcut for this... I think you actually need to use the mouse... I suppose you've tried pressing enter or space... you can also try tab, then enter or space... but if I recall correctly you need to use the mouse. You can try using different resolutions like 800x600x32 for example, if it works you should be able to click the button... otherwise if you're completely stuck, you can try this method: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...83544&st=20 Though that might possibly cause some problems with networking down the line. Good Luck! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90183-half-of-the-welcome-screen-is-off-the-screen-iatkos-v10ir2/#findComment-643474 Share on other sites
