I have a copy of kalyway 10.5.1 and my specs are in this post: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry631640

please can you tell me what Im doing wrong? I want to install it on its own hard drive, I unplug the one with xp and leave the one for leopard unpartitioned and on its own. It is a IDE PATA 80gb hard drive and two dvd drives.

Ok, forgot to mention that I press F8 and then -v, alot of text scrolls and then reboots to the beggining. Last night I got an error system config file '/com.appleboot.plist not found, and after that I only got it once but then nothing, the same thing over and over about pressing F8.

after I let it timeout I get hd (111,0) Leopard_install_osx86.

version I have is: KALYWAY_LEO_10.5.1intel_SSE2_SSE3 burned at 8x with nero 7. Yes I did a burn image option.

Please any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

No luck, burned at 2.5x slowest I can do, and I even got the system comfig file '/com.apple.boot.plist' not found error twice.

Any help please, does it matter if the second hard drive where I cant leopard installed to be active, because right now is unallocated and when I try to install leopard, it is the only hard drive installed.

also it tells me the: hd(111,0) Leopard_install_osx86.

Any Ideas or any help, anyone?

Have not been able to install, the .rtf file that came with the .zip file says KALYWAY LEOPARD 10.5.1 intel SSE2 and SSE3 Only (with 512 MB of RAM)!!!, I have sse2 and 1.5Gb of ram and in the primary IDE have master 250 Gb with 3 partitins and slave drive is empy unformated for leopard. Second IDE have mater lite-on dvd writer and slave hp writer. Please anyone can you tell me what im doing wrong?

I have partition magic, formated fat32, and no jumper; but no luck.

Everytime the scrolling text stops I get back to this screen, I have not been able to access the graphical setup. Please any ideas of what im doing wrong, or is my pc able to run leopard?

I take it you have not yet successfully booted into the installer?

Read the message it says carefully... it says "Press any key to start installation, **OR** press F8 for startup options."

Have you tried just pressing any key? It should boot into the installer. Otherwise, that F8 menu for boot options is for if you already have leopard installed and you need to boot off the disc for diagnostic purposes.

If I'm completely wrong in my guess here, then you're having a different problem altogether, your system doesn't like the installer dvd, or the installer dvd doesn't like your system.. and you'll have to take a picture of the last thing it says before it reboots. If that's the case though, you may want to try downloading a different version..
