I tryed a new install but the hard disk utility take a lot of time to format, and the installer stops showing 1 hour 4 minutes remaining. I tryed some things, I puted the computer en Raid mode, AHCI mode and normal(IDE) mode; into Leo I used succefully for a lot of time stationapolloICH9patch for recognition of ICH9-R. I cannot reinstall it at this moment Some ideas?? PD: I just finish install ubuntu in the same board and HD and its running very well. PooprScooper
At least you could even install on a raptor. Kalyway refuses to load install disc on my raptor. guardian_10
Cannot help you regarding the "slow" factor, but what options did you choose while installing. When in "customize" option, select vanilla and mbr options. Do not select any other files for drivers etc. This worked for me. Hope this helps.
