skater
I eventually succeeded in having the keyboard and trackpad of my laptop working folling the tips of the unvaluable OZEN . I tried , then , to solve the Built in ethernet problem , following the tips of the excellent wmarsh and its "tulip" method . Unfortunately , not working . In System Profiler / Network , Built in Ethernet seems to be recognized , but the computer doesn't have any adress . In System Preferences / network / network status no built in ethernet appears . The Ethernet hardware ( laptop ) is a Realtek 1389 family wich belongs to the compatible hardware . If anyone has an idea , let me know . Thanks in advance . R. Bear Helms
On another computer, go to Realtek and burn the OS X drivers onto a CD or DVD, then on the OSx86 system, see if either of those drivers will install and give you an ethernet device listing on the network system preferences pane.
