I'm a noob to the MAC OS X environment, purchased my first Mac-Mini in the past few weeks. I find the OS to be very interesting and so took steps to try it out via the OSx86 realm on a Dell D620 laptop. I installed the Kalyway 10.5.1 version, then recently ran the Kalyway 10.5.2 updater and added the updated Kernel as well. Seems to be running like a champ afterward.

The only question I have is the .KEXT files included with the upgrade. Do I really need to move those into place? Am I missing out on functionality if I don't? and if I need to... how do I make that happen?

Appreciate any guidance... I'll be googling on this as well.
