i first started to install mac on my pc a few days ago, with kalway (10.5.1), and everything went fine--I could get into Leopard and play for a while after the installation, but I found one of my partitions deleted and i couldn't fix that in OSx so I had to go back to my vista.

i needed to fix that bootloader in order to get back to vista, which is why i couldn't get to OSx after an afternoon fixing that partition, so i thought i should install OSx again.

Then that problem got to me...after i have selected where and what to install (5.7 GB as stated by the installer), the installation starts and runs for a few moments, and then this huge yellow triange with an exclamation mark pops up, and the line below that says "The installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install" and it tells me to restart and try to install again. I did, and the problem remains.

This is quite odd because the difference before and after i fixed my partition is the placement of my external optical drive...can anyone help?
