Tyraenor
Hey Guys... There's a new Apple Graphics update. This may fix the graphics problem (Screen artifacts/mouse tearing) and the sleep problem for DELL devices, too... Maybe there's someone to confirm? Here's the URL Leopard Graphics Update 1.0 Cheers Ty Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/88409-leopard-graphics-update/ Share on other sites
LS8
But it causes BSOD on some GMA950 machines. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/88409-leopard-graphics-update/#findComment-630531 Share on other sites
Da11y
What does this exactly do though? I have mouse tearing on my Intel GMA 950 on my Vaio and so far I've found no solution. Will this actually work? I've tried the Natit method but all I get is a white screen with lines going down it with that. E-werd
I wouldn't use this patch if you have GMA950 on a laptop. I heard of it working on desktops, but not on laptops. In fact, my laptop has this GMA950 chipset. I attempted the update and it left me with the "BSOD", however I noticed that the system was still responsive--sound output still worked when I used the on-keyboard volume control. Blah. I don't have any major problems, but it would still be nice to have an update as such. EnVmyZ
Confirmed Worked well on a Acer 5570Z-2997 (GMA950) Can not confirm it gets rid of screen artifacts because I had already installed the iATKOS AppleIntelIntergrattedFramebuffer.kext and the natit.kext installed. But the update did install and didn't cause Blue Sreen Of Death I wouldn't use this patch if you have GMA950 on a laptop. Just curious if you have tried thishttp://upload.envmyz.com/uploads/GMA950.zip Install ONLY AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext and Natit.kext into the /system/library/extensions/ folder chmod -R 755 /system/library/extensions/AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext chown -R root:wheel /system/library/extensions/AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext chmod -R 755 /system/library/extensions/Natit.kext chown -R root:wheel /system/library/extensions/Natit.kext Reboot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/88409-leopard-graphics-update/#findComment-632209 Share on other sites
