First of all Hi @ all at this cool forum. I'm posting this because I didn't find anything by using Search, so please stay with me here

Here's my Spex. ASUS P5B, Core2Duo 6870 3GHz, 2 GB Ram, 8800GTS. Disk0 is Vista, Disk1 Leopard.

i installed Leopard by using a guide on Gulli Board (osx86 10.5 Leopard flat image)

Everything worked fine out of the box, as far as I can see. Beautiful.

About this Mac shows: System: Mac OS X 10.5 (9A581); Kernel: Darwin 9.0.0

After farting around a bit I decided to go and try the software update (I know, should have searched the forums first, but I didn't and still don't know which Image (iAtkos etc.) I got here).

After rebooting it didn't boot up, just rebooting BEFORE the splash screen (so I couldn't get info in verbose mode about what was happening).

I set it up again (took me mere 20 Minutes) but now I'm stuck here. I'd like to move to 10.5.2.

Any hints, guys? will this (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=88266) work?

TIA, MrsCOlumbo

Sry, dunno what you mean - you mean, if I DID copy some kexts? Well, I didn't, just "paved" it over. Didn't even repair pemissions. But, alas, Time Machine doesn't start (Error -43). So the update f***** it up somehow.

I'll dig into this.

I tried to do the kernel update (kalyway 9.2. kernels; NOT the vanilla one), after rebooting I end up with kernel panic :/

Will try again in different order -> maybe that's not for me

just use the disk utility (finder->programs->utilities->disk utility). on the left plane click on the drive you installed leo on, in the main pane click "repair permissions". this seems to reset r/w-persmissions to certain system files. dunno what it does in detail but sure as hell doesn't hurt :D
