ymer
Hi, I've searched this forum a while but haven't got any good answers. I've got an onboard Realtek ALC650 sound chipset in my hackintosh. The sound is working, but I can't really get my 5.1 surround sound to work. I've configured all speakers and the subwoofer in Audio MIDI Setup, and it appears to be working. But when playing a dvd or mp3 in VLC, the sub and the rear speakers are pretty much dead (can hear sounds, but it's very low, compared to front left/right speakers). The surround sound is working flawlessly in Windows XP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
