Hey guys. This is probably easily-solveable, but I'm sorry, I'm stupid. :)

Anyway, I'm trying to install using the tiger-x86-flat.img using the guide from http://www.osxx86.tk

I first reformated my second hard drive (which is a primary slave) so it has 2 FAT32 partitions, each about 30 gigs, and a NTFS partition that's almost 100 gigs. The FAT32 partitions are both at the beginning of the drive as well. I used Maxtor MaxBlast 3 (it came with the drive) to format the partitions.

So I start command prompt and run dd.exe. The .img seems to be extracting fine, but it take forever (30 hours, while the site say 1 or 2). Once it is done, I restart my computer to try and boot it. I have OSL2000 Boot Manager installed so I can dual boot. When I go to boot OS X, I get an error message that says "Invalid Boot Sector Detected". So I boot into XP Pro and go look at my H: Drive (the drive I installed on) and it can't be accessed. I try to access it and it tells me the drive isn't formatted and asks if I'd like to format it now. I don't have anything else on that partition, so I didn't loose any data or anything, it's just frustrating that I can't get it to work :hysterical:

This is the second time it's happened to me. Please, if anyone can help me out, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Oh and if you need any other info, I'm trying to install it on a Dell Dimension 4600, 2.6 ghz P4, 256 mb (1 gig on the way) RAM.

If you need any other info, just ask.

Oh and another thing, I didn't use diskpart the first time because I already had my partitions created. I just wiped my whole drive and tried using diskpart. When I selected Drive 1, I typed in the command "create partition primary size=6660 id=af" and I get a message that says DiskPart was unable to create the specified partition.
