thefinalprophecy
Actually a couple. 1) If I want to use an unmodified DVD to do an install, can I just use the original Brazilmac disc and NOT run the post patcher? That way I will still have all vanilla kexts/kernel, right? I really don't want to have to buy double layer DVD-R's, and this disc (while some un-necessaries are removed) still contains roughly untouched files, right? 2) How should I start? I have a newly formatted drive and my install discs. As I see it, I should boot to the Leopard DVD, run terminal, make the partition active/bootable using the "bootfix patch", then install EFI 8.0, then install vanilla OS X? I was planning on doing this on MBR because I don't know anything about GUID and I don't have GRUB. Is this ok?
