tle88
D945 GNTLKR + Pentium D945 = hacked kernel in 10.5.1 kalyway distro. Efi_8.0 + guid partition map in sata hd. Kalyway 10.5.1 and update 10.5.2 + new kernel 9.2 works well, but not anymore sleep or wake rights. Hd has old kernel, which name is tohkernel. = sleeping and wakening older hacked 9.1 kernel. I feel, that sleeping and wakening is very important. So: boot kalyway dvd and open terminal. cd /Volumes/Leopard (<-your diskname here) ls -la (<-You can see, what You have in / ) cp mach_kernel mach_kernel92 (=make backup Your 9.2 kernel) cp -f tohkernel mach_kernel (=copy tohkernel over mach_kernel) chown root:wheel mach_kernel* (=fix rights and...) chmod 644 mach_kernel* (...userlevel to right in 9.1 kernel) reboot. Now my machine again sleep and wake.... and it SEEMS to works correctly. I can run xbench and it give same as kernel 9.2. -.- Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87514-sleep-problem-in-1052-fix/ Share on other sites
