Hello OSx86 Forum!

for my first post, I would like to not be a 'plz hlp itz nt workin sum1 fix it 4 me kthxbai!' tool.

I'm trying to install my nice 10.4.10 but for some reason my computer doesn't want me to.

Here's a picture timeline...

Booting from CD, attempting to install.

Loading something, whatever is is, it works.

We get to here, and the pc hangs. No response whatsoever.

This is what it says...

So anyway, does that information seem familiar to anyone?

I think my hardware is compatible, as it is similar to what is on the Wiki HCL, but not the exact components.

Details:

Desktop PC

Mobo: Albatron (PhoenixAward) PX915-SLI

CPU: Intel P4 3Ghz Dual Core

Usually Running: XP Home x86

Occasionally Running: XP Pro x64

GPU: PCI* nVidia Geforce 6600GT

Anything else?

Anyway, is there a way to continue this installation or will I ;) have to buy a mac to use OS X? :D

Thanks eveyone.

It looks like a kernel panic, and it seems to be a common issue. I've (fortunately) never had this happen so I'm not familiar with it; sorry I can't be of more help.

Perhaps starting in safe mode (add -x to boot options) alleviate this?
