-.-
Jas and the others here are great. Thanks for all the work you put into this project. I have the latest 10.4.3 working on an ASRock P4 Dual 915 GL P4 3.20E Ghz 1gb (2x512) OCZ ram onboard sound and vid w/no cards 10.4.1 worked great, and sound works great, 10.4.3_f1111a 2b even better! :censored2: Another one I just finished building: Asus P5LD2 (945P chipset) P4 630+ 3GHz 1gb OCZ ram EVGA e-GeForce 6600 GT The marklar install dvd of 10.4.1 installed on it easily and works but with a few bugs. This 10.4.3 gives the grayed out screen if you try to install from booting the DVD but i have been able to get it installed onto the hardrive more than one way. one is: opening the dvd on the desktop clicking the install icon does nothing, but in System/Installation/Packages/ i clicked on "Install Mac OSX" and it since I had my hd partitioned already (VOL_1 and Vol_2) it allowed me to install and completed all the steps including the attempt to register (which I command+q'ed) Now darwin bootloader sees it, but if I pick that partition it gives me the gray apple screen but the little spinning thing below the apple never makes it's apearance. It's stuck right there. I can click on that hard drive while in 10.4.1 but even after reparing permissions it does not let me open anything like I could on the DVD, so it would have to get any repairs through the terminal but I don't know what to do. I also took the hardrive out of that other computer which has 10.4.3 working and tried it on this Asus, but it does the same thing, no spinner under the gray apple. Has anyone been able to get it to boot on a motherboard that has 945P? I now have a 1099 version of 10.4.3, I may try next if I can't get this one going. tomorrow when i have access to a camera I can maybe take a picture of boot -v because i can see that close to the bottom it says panic and something on that line about page fault=14 or something like that. -.-
Okay now it lets me in. I deleting ApplePS2controller.kext (mentioned here. ) by moving it out of the Extension folder into a folder I made for deleted extentions, but still won't boot. The boot -v readout doesnt stay up long enough for me to read it all, is there a way to make stay longer? Is there a way to take a screenshot of it?
