Macx64 Posted February 7, 2008 Share Posted February 7, 2008 ok so I;m trying to install Mac tiger on my comp using VMware and have been told that Leopard is incompatable with VMware, so i'm trying tiger, but I get the message in the screen below and it freezes. I'm using uphuck_10.4.9_universal_dvd_v1.3 and I'm just loading the ISO directly. can anyone help me understand what I'm doing wrong and/or link me to a good tutorial for installing Mac OS X 10.4.9 on VMware? if you need my computer specs : HP Pavilion Notebook Intel Pentium 4ht 3.40GHz CPU 93Gb HDD (I think it's IDE) 2024Mb RAM Intel Chipset Quanta motherboard ATI Radeon Mobility X600 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/86263-can-anyone-interpret-what-im-seeing-here/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
macgirl Posted February 7, 2008 Share Posted February 7, 2008 Read the guides, the ISO can't be mounted directly, it needs thir party driver/app like Daemon Tools or Nero Image drive to mount , then asign the resulting letter drive in VMware.
