I've installaed iAtkos 1.0ir2 (SSE 2 Kernel) on a Dell Precision M70 which has a Pentium M 760 processor and NVidia Quadro 1400 Go (codename: NV41M) video card in it.

The only way I can get the system to boot in to the GUI is if I either

1. Remove the NVInject.kext

2. Remove the NVDA*.kext

from the Extensions dir. I've I have both in place then after the grey Apple screen I get an error box in numerous languages saying I need to hold down the power button and reboot. Using Verbose mode (-v) i see NVInject correctly identify that I have a Quadro go1400 before seeing a message saying "starting..." somethinn or other and it hangs. Unfortunately with either of these removed i don't have Quartz enabled and really want to get that going to use some apps that rely on it.

I've tried numerous versions of NVInject including NVInjectgo, I've tried numerous install instructions including the ones on the NVInject forums. I've tried adding my Device id to the NVInject .plist i've tried it without doing it. I haven't tried modifying the NCAP as It seems more related to dual display that QI/CE enabling.

I quick google suggests the chipset in the Quadro 1400 is similar to the Geoforce FX6800.

Can somebody tell me whether this is a lost cause and I'm wasting my time? Is there anybody out there who's got this NVidia card working with QI/CE supported ?

Help, very frustrated and close to giving up.

Mark.

Noticed a number of people got their Geoforce 6800 working by adding their Device ID etc. to <IOPCIPrimaryMatch> in NVDANV40Hal.kext and then using NVInject.kext.

Is there anybody out there who believes this might work for me? Anybody with more knowledge about NVidia cards beleive that the Quadro 1400 Go is sufficiently close to the 6800 that it'll work?
