Maximus Arelius
I have 10.4.11 Installed on my second HP computer that only supports SSE2 and has the 8.8.1 and the 8.9.1 kernel is that last SSE2 compatible kernel and is the one i would like to upgrade to. Would it be possible even if I'm at 10.4.11 already? Would it be possible to go from 8.8.1 to 8.9.1 even with 10.4.11 installed? if anyone has any information about this please let me know alright. Thanx! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/85666-can-i-still-update-the-kernel/ Share on other sites

SleeplessMedia
It works on my machine...you can always back up your working kernel and replace it w/ new and see if it works. if not go back to the old one...
