SpecialK_olin
Ok, so I just installed Leopard...at least the installation went through, and I got to the part where it restarts, and it restarted, and now I'm stuck...maybe I'm doing something wrong. when I boot, everything runs fine until I got to a part that said "Panic" I've searched the forums and have come up with nothing...maybe I've been searching for the wrong thing. Here's what my screen says (from top to bottom, I'm not going to cut anything out): " CODE SIGNING: cs_invalis_page: p=25[loginwindow] clearing CS_VALID Feb 2 11:46:00 localhost /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/MacOS/loginwindow[25]: Login Window Application Started CODE SIGNING: cs_invalid_page: p=23[mds] clearing CS_VALID NVDANV30HAL loaded and registered. Progman
This happened to me many a time! I can safely say that the solution is, after selecting your volume to boot, type in "-x" without quotes. It should work perfectly! Good luck! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/85427-unknown-kernel-panic/#findComment-606240 Share on other sites

Thanks dude! now I'm having problems getting through the user setup, lol it all resets once I get to the part where it asks you if you want to transfer your info from your old mac, and I say no, cause my firewire cable's gone missing. anyway...thanks a lot!
