juuni
My setup: AMD 64 3000+ SSE2 Soyo nForce3 mobo ATI 9550 deadmoo install + maxxus 0.4_1 SSE3 patch I edited /etc/rc to force loading ATIRadeon.kext at startup + edited com.apple.Boot.plist to force "Graphics Mode=1920x1200x32" All I'm getting is 1280x1024x32. Anyone with an ATI9550 who could push it to higher res? 1920x1200 would be what I need (+try photoshop)! Then I can kill XP! juuni
Have you tried limiting yourself to resolutions of the Cinema Displays yet? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> anything above 1280 seems to fail. it's not in my VESA 2.0 list of video modes at startup, but that shouldn't matter after a correct video driver is loaded as my card definitely supports it (i'm running 1920x1200 in XP). I tried to modify a bit the ATIRadeon.kext to make sure it does a match with my card device, but that didn't help. still stuck with 1280 i downloaded the drivers for the 9600PRO from ATI, but the file seems to be corrupted ? pedroldm
Hi. I'm really new at MacOS, and I don't know how to edit /etc/rc to force loading ATIRadeon.kext at startup. And, where is the com.apple.Boot.plist file? How can I edit it to force the graphics mode I want? Thanks a lot for your help.
