om_nous Posted January 27, 2008 Share Posted January 27, 2008 I am in the market for a new desktop, I was thinking about building a hackintosh instead of forking out the big bucks for a Mac Pro and using the extra cash to get some some new LCD's etc... I have been researching everything lately and from what it looks like there are some people that get like 99% of stuff working. I am wondering if there is a hardware combination that allows EVERYTHING to work exactly like real mac hardware (Sleep, shutdown, networking, etc..) It does not need to be a gaming computer, so whatever graphics card works best (but dual monitor support is needed)... I will not be dual booting it this would be a 10.5 only install if that changes anything. TIA for any info!
