voggorb
Hi. I have a working installation of Kalyway 10.5.1 on my Seagate sata drive. Yesterday I got a Maxtor sata drive, and want to set the 2 disks in RAID 0. So first I cloned my working installation with CCC to my external usb disk. Then I booted from the Kaylway dvd, formatted my new Maxtor sata to mac os extended (journaled) and restored the clone on the external usb disk to it. The reason for this is that I wanted to make sure my backup works before erasing my working installation and trying to go RAID 0 When I reboot without the disk, I get stuck on "Verifying DMI pool data.." I can boot the new sata drive if I keep the kalyway dvd in though.. I think the problem might be that I have to set the new Maxtor sata to active or something, and I have read that you use the command fdisk for this, but my partition is GUID and fdisk only works with MBR right?.. so does anybody know what i should do to make my kalyway leopard installation on a new harddrive bootable?
