Posted January 24, 2008 Share Posted January 24, 2008 I just want to let people know that I have successfully installed Kalyway 10.5.1 onto: Dell Inspiron 9200, 9300, 5160 & Xps410. 9200: ATI Radeon mobility 9700 ( needs driver ) 9300: works fine 5160: works fine Xps410: not completely done ( short on time ) have to find the instruction for dual boot on my computer. I will try to install onto my Dell M2010..once I can find a 250GB HD for around $100. Everything works fine, but I find that when I unplug the power adaptor and use only the battery. It tends to take a long time and take a lot longer to boot. if anyone knows the answer, please let me know thnx! God bless! I just installed on my 9300 but having problem getting the native res. of the LCD (1920x1200)... cisco77 Posted January 25, 2008 Share Posted January 25, 2008 I'm trying to install Kalyway 10.5.1 right now and im having problems. I'm thinking im not doing something right. I'm trying to install in on a dell inspiron 9300. I would love to know the process you are using for this. I'm getting stuck at the installer screen that says."Install failed. Could not create the folder "/Volumes/untitled/basesystem.pkg.134nplRv8" Are there some settings I should be changing before I actually run the install?
